Can MinCharm work with customer-supplied fabric or a nominated fabric supplier?
Yes. Customer-supplied fabrics, approved materials, and buyer-nominated fabric suppliers can be reviewed for use in a MinCharm apparel production program.
Material Compatibility

- Stretch and recovery
- Shrinkage
- Handfeel and drape
- Fabric construction and finishing
- Suitability for cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, washing, or other required processes
- Compatibility with the intended garment construction
Quality Requirements
- Approved color reference
- Shade consistency between rolls or dye lots
- Fabric defects and inspection standards
- Relevant performance or testing requirements
- Supplier documentation, where required
- Available replacement material if defects or shortages are identified
Quantity and Timing
- Fabric MOQ
- Available stock or production lead time
- Required quantity for sampling and bulk production
- Allowance for testing, cutting, production loss, and material defects
- Delivery schedule to the proposed production facility
- Coordination between material arrival and garment production planning
Commercial & Supply-Chain

A nominated fabric should not move directly into bulk production only because it has been used in a previous order or approved by another supplier. MinCharm still needs to confirm that the material is suitable for the actual garment, manufacturing method, order quantity, production facility, and schedule.
Confirm before bulk use. Where required, a fabric swatch, cutting, test result, sample yardage, or garment sample should be approved before bulk use. The confirmed fabric specification and approval reference then become part of the production and quality-control requirements.
