YOUR BRAND DETAILS

What Can Be Customized for a Private Label Program?

Private label production involves more than placing a logo on a finished garment. The brand details used on the product, labels and packaging should be defined and checked before the order moves into bulk production.

01

Main Labels

Brand labels can be developed according to the size, material and placement confirmed for the garment.

02

Care & Size Labels

Care, composition and size information can be prepared according to the confirmed product details.

03

Hangtags

Brand hangtags, product information and barcode requirements can be included where required.

04

Printing

Logo, artwork, dimensions and placement can be confirmed before bulk application.

05

Embroidery

Logo and graphic embroidery can be developed according to approved artwork and placement requirements.

06

Custom Packaging

Folding, polybags, stickers, barcodes, carton marks and other packaging requirements can be arranged.

MORE THAN A LABEL

Private Label Production Starts With the Garment

A label cannot correct a garment that has not been properly developed. Fabric, fit, measurements, construction and product details need to be confirmed before branding is applied to volume production.

For that reason, we treat the garment and the brand details as one production project rather than two separate steps.

Garment Specifications

Fabric, measurements, fit and construction are confirmed before production.

Brand Application

Logo method, dimensions, position and label placement are reviewed against the garment.

Sample Review

Product and branding details can be checked together during the sample stage.

Bulk Consistency

Production follows the approved sample and confirmed branding requirements.

BRAND APPROVAL

Confirm Branding Before Bulk Production

Brand details should be reviewed before they are repeated across a full production order. The exact process depends on the garment and the branding elements required.

01

Garment Sample

Confirm the garment structure, fit and main product details.

02

Logo & Artwork

Confirm artwork, dimensions, method and placement.

03

Labels & Hangtags

Review brand labels, care labels, size labels and hangtags.

04

Packaging

Confirm folding, bags, stickers, barcodes and carton requirements.

05

Branded Sample Approval

Check the garment and required branding details before production.

06

Bulk Production

Approved product and branding details move into volume production.

Typical sampling: 7–10 days. Timing depends on the garment, materials, custom trims, branding method and approval requirements.

BUILT FOR VOLUME PRIVATE LABEL

Private Label Production Designed for Volume Orders

Our standard MOQ is 1,000 pieces per style and color. At this scale, garment production, label quantities, printing or embroidery setup and packaging can be planned more efficiently. This can improve unit-cost efficiency for a complete private label order.

Garment Production at Scale

Larger production runs allow material purchasing and manufacturing to be planned around the confirmed order quantity.

Branding Setup Efficiency

Printing and embroidery setup costs can be spread across more units in a volume production order.

Labels & Packaging Quantities

Labels, hangtags and packaging can be ordered in quantities that better match the production program.

Repeat-Order Consistency

Approved product and branding specifications provide a clearer reference for repeat production.

Final pricing depends on the garment, fabric, order quantity, printing or embroidery, label specifications, packaging and other requirements. A project-specific quotation is prepared after the relevant details are reviewed.

BRAND CONSISTENCY

Keep Brand Details Consistent Across the Order

A private label order involves product details that may not affect garment construction but still matter to the final retail-ready product.

Brand-related requirements are therefore checked against the approved specifications along with the garment itself.

QUALITY CONTROL

Quality Checks Include the Brand Details Too

Quality checking is not limited to garment construction. For private label orders, approved printing, embroidery, labels, hangtags and packaging also need to match the confirmed order requirements.

The approved sample and product specifications provide the main reference during production and inspection.

PRIVATE LABEL FAQ

Common Questions About Private Label Apparel Manufacturing

These are some of the details buyers usually need to confirm before starting a branded apparel project.

What is your MOQ for private label apparel?

Our standard MOQ is 1,000 pieces per style and color. The production setup is mainly suited to volume orders, where garment manufacturing and branding components can be planned more efficiently.

Can you add our own brand labels to the garments?

Yes. Main brand labels can be developed according to the required material, dimensions and placement for the garment.

Can you produce custom care labels and size labels?

Yes. Care, composition and size labels can be prepared according to the confirmed product information and labeling requirements supplied for the order.

Can MinCharm make custom hangtags?

Yes. Custom hangtags can be produced using the approved artwork and product information. Barcode or other retail information can also be included where required.

Can you add our logo by printing or embroidery?

Yes. Printing and embroidery can be developed according to the artwork, dimensions, placement and garment requirements confirmed during sampling.

Can private label orders include custom packaging?

Yes. Depending on the project, packaging can include folding requirements, polybags, stickers, barcode labels, carton marks and other confirmed packing details.

Do I need a finished tech pack to start a private label project?

Not necessarily. If the garment specifications are already complete, the project can follow a specification-led OEM process. If the product still needs work on materials, fit or construction, additional product development may be needed before private label production begins.

Can I approve the branding before bulk production?

Yes. Required labels, artwork, printing, embroidery and packaging details can be reviewed during the development and sample approval stage before they are repeated across the bulk order.

How long does private label sampling usually take?

Typical sampling takes 7–10 days. Custom fabrics, trims, labels, complex garment construction or additional sample revisions may require more time.

How long does bulk production usually take?

Typical bulk production takes 25–35 days after the required product and branding approvals are complete. Actual timing depends on materials, order quantity, construction, customization and production scheduling.
