Brushed-Fleece Hoodie Manufacturing Notes
Brushed-interior hoodies fail in specific, predictable ways. These are the checkpoints we control so the MCD005 stays consistent across a production run:
1. Brushed Uniformity
Napping is checked panel by panel so the interior has no thin or bald spots and the same softness front, back, and sleeves.
2. Pilling Resistance
An anti-pill finish and controlled fiber length keep the brushed face from balling after multiple washes.
3. Chest Pocket Seam
The pocket is flat-stitched to avoid a bulky knot at the placket and to keep the print or embroidery area clean.
4. Hood Routing
Drawcord channels are sewn straight and the aglet and stopper are set so the cord does not slip or twist.
5. Rib Recovery
Cuff and hem ribs use a balanced elastane content so edges recover after stretch instead of rolling.
6. Shell Bonding
The brushed backing is bonded evenly to the shell with no delamination or hand-feel variation by size.
