A Hoodie That Doesn’t Need to Shout
Ask anyone in a sample room what makes a hoodie feel expensive, and the answer is almost never the logo. It’s the weight when you pick it up, the soft inner face against your skin, and the small details you catch on a third look. That is the logic behind this pullover: a clean, minimalist silhouette, a deep kangaroo pocket, and metal-tipped drawcords threaded through metal eyelets. The sample comes in a cream shade with a small tonal embroidery at the chest — quiet on purpose, and easy to picture wearing your own mark instead.
Two Details Do the Heavy Lifting
Most of this hoodie’s character sits at the hood and the hem. The hood pairs metal eyelets with cords tipped in metal aglets: they slide smoothly, knot securely and don’t fray the way plain-cut cords do after a season of wear. Below, the ribbed cuffs and hem are what hold the relaxed shape in place — the silhouette you approve on the sample is the silhouette that survives the wardrobe.

Made for Private Label, Down to the Hardware
For a brand building a quiet essentials line, this is the kind of blank that works harder than it looks. The tonal chest embroidery on the sample can become your logo — or leave the front clean and place your branding on the hood, back yoke or pocket. The hardware is customizable as a development option: aglet and eyelet finishes can be matched to your metal tone at sampling, cord color follows your palette, and woven labels, hangtags and packaging follow your spec.
Where the Difficulty (and the Value) Hides
Aglet crimping. A metal tip is only as good as its crimp. A loose crimp lets go within the first washes, so the sample cords get a firm pull test and the crimp spec is locked before bulk cord cutting.
Eyelets on thick knits. Eyelets set into a thick, soft-faced fabric need the right reinforcement and setting pressure — too light and they spin loose, too hard and they crush the face. It gets checked on the sample, not discovered in bulk.
Embroidery on pile. Tonal embroidery behaves differently on a thick knit than on flat jersey: stitches sink into the surface. Backing and stitch density are tuned on the sample first, then repeated exactly for bulk.
Rib recovery. Cuffs and hem get stretched over heads and wrists for years. On sampling, the rib is stretched and watched for how quickly it snaps back — width or structure gets adjusted before it ever reaches your customer.
Fabric Directions We’d Sample First
The sample reads as a thick, substantial knit with a soft inner face. Composition and weight are not fixed — this is a custom-fabric OEM program. Directions we’d typically put on the table for this silhouette: a 330–380 gsm loopback or brushed fleece for a structured winter weight, or a mid-weight around 280–320 gsm for a transitional piece. Fiber content, GSM targets and finishing choices (enzyme wash, anti-pilling treatment, brushed inside) are agreed in your tech pack, and bulk fabric is matched against the approved sample — not a photo.
Fit and Sizing
What the photos show: a relaxed body with dropped shoulders, long sleeves and ribbed cuffs — an easy fit with room to move, without losing its line. Your size range and grading follow your tech pack. One fitting note worth flagging early: on relaxed drop-shoulder bodies, the shoulder drop point needs checking as sizes climb, or the shoulder line sags on the larger sizes. Send your size chart with the enquiry and the balance gets checked on the sample.

Questions Buyers Ask About This Hoodie
Can the metal tips and eyelets carry our own branding?
Yes — as a development option. Custom-finished aglets and eyelets depend on hardware sourcing, so plating, finish and minimums are confirmed at the sampling stage rather than promised as a stock part.
Can we order this hoodie in our own colors?
Colors are developed per your tech pack and dyed to lab dips you approve before bulk. The cream shade on the sample is a reference point, not a fixed stock color.
What do you need from us to quote and sample?
A reference image or tech pack, target fabric weight and composition, your size chart, and quantities per style, color and size. Quoting follows the tech pack — we don’t guess.
