Available certification, audit, and compliance documentation depends on the manufacturing facility, material, supplier, and requirements of the specific apparel project. MinCharm can review relevant available documents with the buyer to check whether they match the proposed production arrangement.
What types of documents may be available?
Depending on the project, documentation may include:
ISO 9001 quality management system certificates from selected manufacturing partners, where the certified facility and scope are relevant to the order.
amfori BSCI social audit documentation for the manufacturing facility proposed for production.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certificates covering selected fabrics, components, or products within the stated certified scope.
Global Recycled Standard (GRS) documentation relevant to recycled materials and the proposed supply chain, including scope and transaction documentation where applicable.
How is applicability checked?
Relevant documents are reviewed against the named holder, certificate or audit reference, manufacturing facility, material or product scope, validity or audit status, and the buyer’s specific requirements.
These documents serve different purposes. A factory certificate, audit report, or material certificate should not be treated as automatic coverage for every garment or MinCharm order.
What should buyers provide?
Please share the required certification or audit, target market, product category, material specifications, retailer requirements, and required document timing before sampling or production planning.
Available document copies can be reviewed where disclosure is permitted. The availability and timing of any required order- or shipment-specific documentation should be confirmed separately.
