A Hoodie That Says It Without Words
Some blanks are meant to disappear under a logo. This one isn’t — it carries a running-dog graphic that does the talking, set on a relaxed pullover with a drawcord hood and a kangaroo pocket. Ribbed cuffs and hem keep the shape honest after a dozen washes. We treat the print as a structural part of the garment, not a sticker slapped on at the end: the artwork is confirmed, the placement is locked, and the cure is checked before bulk. Send us the dog, or let us help place yours.
Where the Work Sits
The body is a standard set-in sleeve pullover — no raglan curve, no zip, just the clean lines that make a printed front read clearly. The hood adjusts with tipped drawcords. The kangaroo pocket sits low and roomy. And the graphic is the point: sized, positioned and sealed so it survives the wash cycle your buyers will actually run, not the one on the care label. The ribbing is quiet on-purpose, so the print stays the loudest thing on the chest.

Four Details We Argue About at the Sampling Table
Placement is a measurement, not a feeling. A graphic that looks centered on the flat can sit high or crooked once the hoodie is worn. We set the print box from a fixed point — usually a measured distance below the neck seam — and confirm it on a worn sample photo, not just the lay-flat one. That’s how the dog lands where your brand wants it, every size.
On a fleece face, print needs a primer. The raised nap that makes the fabric feel good also traps ink and breaks adhesion. For screen print we lay down a base or use a low-bleed underlay so the graphic cures flat instead of floating on the fuzz. On a brushed interior the same care applies — we match the ink system to the surface, not the catalog.
Cure temperature is where prints live or die. Ink that looks dry can still be under-cured and crack after three washes. We check cure with a wash test on the sample and, for bulk, a temperature strip on the belt — so the dog doesn’t peel off in the customer’s first laundry load.
Pocket and print share the same real estate. A kangaroo pocket opening that crosses the artwork looks cheap and wears badly. We keep the graphic clear of the pocket mouth and confirm the two don’t fight — either the print sits above the pocket line, or the pocket is shortened to clear it. The sample decides; we don’t guess.
Fabric Directions We’d Develop First
The sample reads as a smooth fleece-face knit with a comfortable body — a surface that takes print cleanly without show-through. Composition and weight aren’t fixed; this is a custom-fabric program. Directions we’d typically develop for a graphic pullover: a 280–320 gsm fleece for a stable print base, or a 300–340 gsm french-terry when you want a lighter hand with the same graphic. Fiber content, GSM target and finishing (enzyme wash, anti-pilling) are agreed in your tech pack, and bulk fabric is matched against the approved sample — not a photo.
Fit and Sizing
What the photos show: a relaxed set-in sleeve body with a straight ribbed hem and roomy kangaroo pocket. On a printed style, chest width and graphic scale move together — we check the print box against your size run so the dog stays proportional from XS to 3XL. Your size range and grading follow your tech pack; send the size chart with the enquiry and the balance gets checked on the sample.

Questions Buyers Ask About This Printed Hoodie
Can we swap in our own dog artwork?
Yes — the graphic is a tech-pack item, not a fixed design. Send vector or high-res artwork and we confirm placement, scale and color breaks on a strike-off before the bulk screen is made. If the file needs cleanup we flag it early rather than printing a fuzzy dog.
Print or embroidery for the graphic?
On a fleece face, screen print reads cleaner and costs less per unit at volume; embroidery adds dimension but can snag the knit and raises the per-piece price. We’ll recommend one after seeing the artwork and your wash expectations — both are doable, the right call depends on the look you’re selling.
Does a multi-color graphic change the minimum?
The MOQ stays 1,000 pcs per style & color; what changes is the screen count and any per-color setup. We quote that against your artwork rather than guessing, and group colors to keep the setup sane. Tell us the breaks and you’ll get a real number, not a placeholder.
