Do custom sleepwear trims have separate MOQs and lead times?
Yes. Custom sleepwear trims can have separate MOQs and lead times.
Supplier minimums for trims are not always the same as MinCharm’s garment MOQ. Separate requirements may apply to custom-colored elastic, branded buttons, special lace, piping, drawcords, labels, adjusters, and other made-to-order components.
The exact requirement depends on whether the trim is available from stock or needs color matching, artwork, a mold, special materials, or dedicated production. MinCharm reviews these conditions before sampling or bulk production.
Why trim requirements can differ
Standard available trim
An in-stock color, size, or construction may be available in smaller quantities and with a shorter sourcing time, subject to current supplier stock.
Custom color or finish
Custom dyeing, plating, coating, or color matching can introduce a supplier color minimum and additional approval time.
Branded or custom-made trim
Logo artwork, molds, weaving, printing, engraving, or special construction may require setup work and a separate production minimum.
What MinCharm reviews before confirming
- Garment quantity per style and color
- Trim type, material, size, color, and finish
- Artwork, logo, or color reference
- Number of trims required per garment
- Supplier availability and preparation time
- Sampling and bulk-production schedule
The garment MOQ does not automatically set every trim MOQ
One sleepwear style may use several trims from different suppliers, and each supplier may apply a different MOQ, color minimum, or lead time. If a requested trim cannot support the confirmed quantity or schedule, MinCharm will review an available alternative, a revised specification, or an adjusted quantity with the buyer before production. No substitution should be treated as approved until the relevant specification is confirmed.
